Illusion of choice

When what has been done has been done, what else is left to be done other than what has not been done? Noah_arkenswagg

  1. In the quiet aftermath of done deeds’ silent hum,
Lies the untouched, the untrod, the yet to become.
What’s been etched in the stone of yesteryears’ sun,
Leaves the morrow open, for the new to be spun.

When what has been done, in history’s gentle embrace,
Sleeps beneath the stars, in time’s unyielding case,
Look to the horizon, where possibilities run,
For there lies the vast, the untouched, waiting to be won.

Beyond the echoes of the past, in the future’s soft whisper,
Lies the canvas unmarked, in the dawn’s pale glister.
The path not taken, the word unspoken, the deed undone,
In the heart of the unknown, new journeys have begun.

So when what has been done has found its resting place,
And we stand at the crossroads, in time’s endless race,
Let’s venture into the void, with courage as our guide,
For in the land of the untried, our spirits truly reside.

In the quiet, in the clamor, in the ebb and the flow,
There’s always something undone, a new seed to sow.
For when what has been done has been lovingly stored,
    The undreamed dreams beckon—vast, unexplored.
