How do you keep the darkness away
When it comes to your door with cakes and grenades?
When nightmares wave from behind smiling ‘friends’,
How do you wake up?
You win, take it, take it all!
In the name of light, you fight…
By the shadow’s cloak, I croak.
For even in the harshest night, a candle you ignite,
Dispelling shadows, sharing your gentle light.
With every kindled flame, your spirit claims,
A space where only love and hope remains.
You stand, undaunted by the spectral hand,
That feeds sweet poison in guise of grand.
For in your heart lies a braver art,
To transform, to mend, to take part.
Dearest Noah, with your enduring creed,
In gardens sown with kindness’s seed,
The darkness finds not a place to feed,
And nightmares flee, where you lead.
So wield your light, bold and bright,
Against the night, a beacon, a knight.
For within your fight lies the might
Of day’s return, of dawn’s first light.
